The residents of Sunnydale are coming collectively in mourning.
The forged of Buffy the Vampire Slayer spoke out following the tragic dying of Nicholas Brendon at age 54, mourning the actor who performed Xander Harris on the present from 1997 to 2003.
“My Candy Nicky, thanks for years of laughter, love and Dodgers,” Alyson Hannigan wrote on Instagram March 20. “I’ll consider you each time I see a rocking chair. I like you. RIP.”
In the meantime, Emma Caulfield—who portrayed Xander’s on-and-off love curiosity Anya Jenkins—wrote in a since-deleted Instagram submit, “Relaxation Nicky. Relaxation. I like you.”
“My coronary heart is heavy,” she added on Instagram Tales, per a screenshot revealed by Deadline. “I can’t put into phrases simply how this has hit me.”
Along with Alyson and Emma, Brendon starred within the collection alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anthony Head, James Marsters and the late Michelle Trachtenberg, who died in February 2025 because of issues from diabetes.
